Why should I use a Realtor if I'm buying a new home from a builder?

New construction has its advantages and you may be thinking about making a purchase from the builders representative at the Sales Center. Here's what you need to consider:

  • The Builder's Rep is working for the builder - not for you! Their success relies on them getting the best deal for the builder, who is their employer.

  • When you hire a Realtor, YOU are the employer. We work for you!

  • The commission for buyer representation is legally part of the purchase price. The builder receives an extra 3% for nothing.

  • This FREE service for you can help you save money. A Realtor can negotiate a better deal, free upgrades, or whatever is in your best interest.

  • It's best if your Realtor is with you when you first tour model homes. If not, use their card and hand it to the builder's rep.
